2024 Fall Youth Clinics - Fall 2024

These high-energy, interactive clinics provide players the opportunity to try basketball or to further develop their skills. From beginner to experienced, there is something for everyone! Players will meet Red Land High School coaches, players and students while they work on the fundamentals of dribbling, passing and shooting. Come have fun and get some exercise!!

Boys Clinic for grades 4-6 on 9/15 at Red Land High School from 6p-8:30p

Girls Clinics on 9/25 and 10/1 at Red Land High School
- Grades K-3 from 5:30p-7p
- Grades 4-6 from 7p-8:30p

2024-25 Recreation Program - Winter 2024

The recreation program is available for boys in grades K-8 and girls in K-6 who reside in the West Shore School District. The anticipated divisions are listed below. All players should register for the offering corresponding to their grade. Offerings are tentative and subject to change based on the number of registered coaches and players.

Boys: K-1, 2, 3-4, 5-6

- Registration closes November 1st
- Evaluations are November 3rd at Red Land; Grades 1-2: 1pm-2pm; Grades 3-4: 2:30pm-3:30pm; Grades 5-6: 4pm-5pm; Kindergarteners do not need to attend evaluations
- Coaches meeting on November 10th at Red Land from 6pm-8pm
- Practices start December 3rd; Grades K-4 practice 1x per week; Grades 5-6 practice 2x per week
- Games start January 4th & 5th and end February 22nd & 23rd
- Boys 3-4 tournament on February 22nd; Boy 5-6 Tournament on February 23rd

Girls: K-1, 2-3, 4-6

- Registration closes November 1st
- Evaluations are October 21st & 22nd at Red Land from 6pm-8pm; attend either session; arrive anytime; allow 20-30 minutes for evaluation
- Coaches meeting on November 4th at Red Land from 6pm-8pm
- Practices start December 3rd; Grades K-1 practice Tuesday nights; Grades K-3 practice 1x per week; Grades 4-6 practice 2x per week
- Games start January 4th & 5th and end February 22nd & 23rd
- All Star game for grades 4-6 on February 22nd at Cedar Cliff

Boys: 7-8

- Registration closes November 23rd
- No evaluations
- Session dates are: 12/8, 12/15, 1/5, 1/12, 1/19, 1/26, 2/2, 2/16
- Sessions will include 30 minutes of practice with volunteer coach followed by multiple games

2024-25 Travel Program - Winter 2024

The travel program is available for boys and girls in grades 4th-6th who reside in the attendance area for Red Land High School. Players residing in areas assigned to Cedar Cliff High School may not participate in this travel program.

There is no cost to tryout. Those selected will be offered a spot on a roster and confirmed once the registration fee is paid. Those not selected for a travel team are invited to enroll in the Recreation Program.

Boys Tryouts are October 13th at Red Land at the following times:

- 4th Grade: 2pm-3:30pm
- 5th Grade: 4pm-5:30pm
- 6th Grade: 6pm-7:30pm

Girls Tryouts are October 14th at Red Land at the following times:

- 4th Grade: 5:30pm-7pm
- 5th & 6th Grade: 7pm-8:30pm
