2024-25 Travel Program - Winter 2024

The travel program is available for boys and girls in grades 4th-6th who reside in the attendance area for Red Land High School. Players residing in areas assigned to Cedar Cliff High School may not participate in this travel program.

There is no cost to tryout. Those selected will be offered a spot on a roster and confirmed once the registration fee is paid. Those not selected for a travel team are invited to enroll in the Recreation Program.

Boys Tryouts are October 13th at Red Land at the following times:

- 4th Grade: 2pm-3:30pm
- 5th Grade: 4pm-5:30pm
- 6th Grade: 6pm-7:30pm

Girls Tryouts are October 14th at Red Land at the following times:

- 4th Grade: 5:30pm-7pm
- 5th & 6th Grade: 7pm-8:30pm

Frequently Asked Questions

Is there a fee to tryout?: No, but registration is required.

Is there a fee to play if selected?: Yes, the registration fee varies by team but is typically around $100. Players are also expected to participate in fundraising to offset program costs.

When/where are tryouts for Boys?: October 13th at Red Land; 4th grade: 2-3:30pm, 5th grade: 4-5:30pm, 6th grade: 6-7:30pm

When/where are tryouts for Girls?: October 14th at Red Land; 4th grade: 5:30pm-7pm; 5th/6th grade: 7pm-8:30pm

When/where are practices?: Teams practice 2-3 times a week on weeknights at West Shore School District facilities. Practices are 1.5-2 hours each.

When/where are games?: Teams play in the Central Penn Travel League (CPTL). Games are Saturdays (5th & 6th grade) and Sundays (4th grade) at neighboring school district's facilities.

What if I'm not selected?: Players are encouraged to participate in the recreation program.

How can I check RLHS attendance area?: Please check with WSSD.

Is there an app for team communication?: Yes, we use TeamSideline and it is available for Apple and Android devices. There is a direct link at the bottom of our website: www.rlyb.org.
